The funny police drama my mom wanted to watch turned out to be Catch The Ghost. It’s definitely a police drama and it was definitely funny but I don’t think I ever would have been able to to guess this was the one my mom had seen in passing.
Tonally, this drama was darker than I expected, especially considering it was another drama where the MC’s hair looked like a doll wig (the first time I encountered something like this being Oh My Baby. In both cases it seems that the actresses just had their hair cut and styled to have a strange volume distribution, though it did improve throughout the drama’s run).
The tension was consistent through this drama and I really liked the way the clues about the big mysteries were scattered. The additional aspect of differing perspectives also made this a really interesting watch.
The ways that the character dynamics shifted and changed depending on developments was really fun to keep up with.
