My mom was looking for a drama she wanted to watch and all the clues she gave were that it was about the police and that it looked funny. I saw the trailer for this one but it was not the right answer. I couldn’t see how this was wrong when it was so hilarious!
Seoul Busters is an ensemble police comedy where the main characters go through a monster of the week situation (or, monster of the fortnight seeing as the cases tend to spread across 2 episodes). The cases relate the characters’ pasts and how they came to be the characters stuck in the converted nursery.
Due to the exploration of more emotional events and backstories, each of the characters gets the turn to be the straight man in the chaos of the violent crimes team.
Somehow the tonal shifts flowed smoothly and it really was an incredible watch!
