Moonshine | 2025 Drama Round Up

Lee Hyeri and Kang Mina were the only things I needed to know before going into this drama. Two of my biases from different eras of being a Kpop fan in a period drama? What more could I want?

I will concede that it was a bit slow to get off the ground. A plucky, hardworking yet downtrodden heroine getting into a mild-irritation-to-lovers with an arrogant and ignorant rich guy? Not exactly an original formula. But I had to persevere for the reason I started watching inythe first place.

My mom kept asking me why I wanted to watch this drama and didn’t ever accept the answer that “I don’t know, I just know two of the actresses”.

Thankfully, this drama that I had minimal knowledge of actually turned out to be great.

The romance was boring and I didn’t care for the main couple but I found the secondary couple to be funny and charming in the small doses we had (though any more and it likely would have quickly got tired).
