Before anything else I am going to make a prediction.
The big event I have been waiting for will occur and this season will end. And then I will need to wait a terrible amount of time before all the next parts of the story I want to see.
Aside from that, That’s The Guy is a super fun webtoon. Some guy ragequit an online game because of some other guy and ended up playing another game instead.
The story so far is mostly about the main character (SleepyHead in game, can’t remember his actual name) working out the mechanics of the game and grinding away whilst being pestered by guild master Yoochae.
It is a very easy read with all sorts of twists and turns in events and gameplay. It is one of those BLs where the romance element is tertiary (or some other layer even more distant from the narrative) but I have just been eating this up. I am pretty sure we will soon see some of the events from real life/the past come into play so I am looking forward to how that changes things.
If I had to say something I don’t like about That’s The Guy, it is that I found out about it too soon so I can’t just binge this story right to the end.
